There are still some tweaks to do, but that should keep you all going for now. If you find any glitches, let me know.

Yes Paul, MUCH better. But where is the login on IPB 3? :hmm:
I had to go back to the misbegotten one to log in.

I think there's a bug in the Zeta software, so there's not a lot I can do about it. For switching themes go to the bottom of the page and select whichever one you want to try out. The page should refresh into the new theme, but it's possible you might get an error message page. Close the page and reopen the forum from a bookmark or whatever and you should see the theme you chose.

Indeed; but full functionality is not there. For now, I need to log in on the abominable theme, then switch to a decent one. To logoff, I must retrace my steps.

If you exit the forum by hitting X at the top right, next time you open it, it should open in the last theme you were using. I have passwords etc saved in Chrome and it takes me into whatever theme I have selected every time.

I just tried signing out which took me to the Zeta original screen to close the forum. Re-starting took me to the log in screen, but after logging in it switched to my selected theme. Harold, it may depend on what browser you're using.

Cheers Paul. It's Firefox. Now I'm unable to switch themes; "not available on this server".
That's enough for tonight.
Or, as we used to say at college/uni, "A king's a king and a queen's a queen, but once a knight's enough" :)

Harold, I've found that glitch with IPB 3, close the forum, re-start and you should see the theme. I haven't had the error message with the other themes. I'll try running them on another machine, the one I'm using doesn't have Firefox installed.

That looks way better.

I know you all are waiting with bated breath to see if I could figure out how to get around the weird Orange Blue sight I was met with, :jaw: apron clicking on a email message. Well Good News I did !
After my eyes stopped watering, I luckily, er, cleverly found the " choose a theme" and changed to IPB2 (at least for now, 'cause it gives me the bird :what: -OH That's awkward! :nono: never mind)

Glad to see my surprise wasn't all that unusual and hope the change will be for the best for the site for a long time _^ _^ _^

Thanks peebeep. Being able to change themes, makes life a whole lot easier. Personally I found IPB 2 to be the better choice.
