Thanks for posting these Joe. Those of us who can't get to places like this rely of the generosity of people like you to take us along.
Cheers,

Any pics of the other B-47 sitting beside the candy-striped one?

This show is on my bucket list.
Do it, I doubt you'll have any regrets (apart from struggling to get the swag back home)

Joe...........like Woody and the others have stated, THANK YOU for sharing these pictures with us. It is virtually impossible for me to get to Telford to see these stunning works of art that belong in a museum. As I looked at the first picture posted, I thought "This kit is beautiful" only to be more impressed with each subsequent picture that you posted. I could not figure out which one I liked the best. Like Stimpy posted, I would hate to judge any category in aircraft. They are all worthy of first place awards.

Thanks to the internet, I am able to view so many beautiful renditions of past and current types and to interact and develop friendships on a subject that we all have a passion for ( thanks to this website / forum ).

Thanks again Joe ( and to all my friends via this site :D )!!!!!

With grateful appreciation,
Mike

Your welcome...loved the show and I'm glad to share the pics. I have a bit more I'll post soon. J.C....no, I don't have any pics of the other B-47 model. Of the two, I felt the candy striped one was the best, so that's what I photographed. There's so much on the display tables, you just have to narrow it down or have thousands of pics. :)

Ugh!... the candy-striped one and the ones with day-glo orange/red all over them were abominations to the breed!!!! :haha:

Overall SAC natural metal... or same with anti-flash white all the way! _^

Sorry, I feel better now. I'm biased since my Dad worked on them, but always thought the ones that added color to them just totally broke up and spoiled the lines of one of the sexiest aircraft ever built! They didn't need camo or much for other markings to "purty them up!" Like an attractive woman... best in just what God gave her!!! :eb:
