Is It Safe?..... Nope Posts: 2,963 Group: Members Member #432 Joined: July 17, 2012	Check out this page Soviet Colors. Look at the table Camouflage paints for Soviet aircraft 1945-1947, basically use a satin or slightly gloss AMT4 Dark green

Other prototypes by other manufacturers, eg Lavochkin are in the bluish grey and early Sukhoi seem to have been natural metal, so this isn't my judgment, just what other authors and investigators would seem to show.
