It says beta-testing but if Hyperscale is anything to go by, that's what you will get.
Yep. I'm very unhappy with the idea of my own forums being turned into tapatalk clones, especially if you can't use your own themes. :uxb:

I became the conservator for my mother early this year due to her severe dementia.
Aaron, FWIW (not much) you have my very sincere sympathy. My mother's general decline was capped off by non-Alzheimer's, which was the last straw.
I do hope you have sibs and/or other family who help.

But this is the second barrel of the shotgun.
Ouch :fp:

Between my late father w/Alzheimer's and my late mother w/non-Alzheimer's, I cultivate a certain amount of gallows humor as I peer into my own future.
Some days, my wife thinks I'm already there ;)

Not really - they live about the same time (on average) but die longer.
Not what I was saying, but certainly what I was thinking.

It is summertime so most of the time went das into my other hobby, driving an oldtimer.
It‘s an 67 NSU TT and a lot of fun.

But modelling in this times slow down and I only finished one this year.
Criticism Is welcome

Another announcement in my email today...

"Dear Zetaboard Forum Admin and Moderators,
You might have received an email from us in past few weeks to participate in the Beta testing of the Zetaboard to Tapatalk conversion (If you haven’t, you’ll hear from us really soon). We received tons of great feedback and made many updates to address the issues raised during the Beta testing. Based on your feedback, we’re in the process of adding the following features to make sure your forum transition will be as smooth as possible:
•Customizable forum templates with enhanced BBCode, including div (with class), span (with class), iframe, form elements.
•Customizations via Javascript-like scripting feature to admin admins to further customize the user experience.
•Custom pages:
oEnhanced BBcode, embedded iframe or html in iframe.
oForm handling for custom pages. Forms can be created to submit responses into a post.
oView permissions for custom pages.
•And Custom smileys!
These upcoming features will be part of the Tapatalk Premium Tier but If you had JS or CSS on your board prior to the conversion, they will be grandfathered into the converted site. Also - if you already have a custom domain with Zetaboard, your domain will also be grandfathered. Some of these features will be rolled out on your preview board in the next few days so you can play around with them before the production migration.
We plan to start the production migration for everyone within next few weeks. If you find any data or formatting issues on the preview board and would like to have a migration support specialist to look into the issues, please reply to this message.
Looking forward to welcoming you all to the Tapatalk Groups!
Regards,
Tapatalk Support Team "

Well, I don't know. Honestly, I don't know what they're talking about. I'm not a MF'in' programmer.

Hey Ray, it's the 72nd scale a/c forum. Era, etc. doesn't matter! :)

Post it! If you think this place is too 109 centric, change the parameters. Jets are really the only thing I do in 72nd anymore. I would be happy to see more from some others.

I read the comments on this topic with great interest. For myself, I have not been doing any model time or ( heaven forbid! ) spending much time visiting my favorite website ( uh.......this one ). Like with the majority who have commented, summertime activities with my family have dominated my free time, however, I was thrown a big wrench to my lifestyle and our plans in early May when I first broke my finger and then I was diagnosed with a condition ( spinal stenosis ) that will require surgery. As many of you that have or had children, the older they become, it is more of a challenge to spend time together. The oldest is entering into his junior year at college while the youngest will be a senior in high school and is being courted by many institutions of higher learning which has eaten up much of our time on the weekends with visitations. While I am able to function physically, I still experience pain and soreness from my lower back and I have delayed surgery until early October.

So coupled with the broken finger, the time required to be the head of the household, and the challenges that come with everyday pain and soreness from a damaged back, I have been unable to put anything new on the site to show off. I am confident that once the surgery is successful and my finger is fully healed, I will be able to flood this site with new projects.

Respectfully submitted,
Mike
