So sorry to hear this. His presence will certainly be missed. Even though I never met him, he always had kind and encouraging remarks to anything I posted. And from what I've read to almost everyone else on this forum. I'll miss seeing his amusing avatar. A true gentleman and fine modeler.

Really sad to hear of Rolf's passing. His contributions will be missed.

We have lost quite a few of our best gentlemen and modellers in the last year - Glen Porter, Ban Jakobsen (Reported on Hyperscale recently) and now Rolf.

The forum won't be the same without them.

Condolences to his family.

Regards

...I always assumed he was a great deal younger than me. I guess his enthusiasm and love of what he was doing made him seem that way to me.

I always felt exactly the same.

Awfully sad news, I always enjoyed reading Rolf's contributions & seeing his excellent models.

RIP Rolf, sincere condolences to your family & friends.....

I missed this originally, to my embarrassment, & would like to join with others in paying tribute to Rolf/Popeye both as a modeller & an individual. He will be greatly missed here. My thoughts & sympathies to his family. RIP Rolf.
