How do you link one topic from this forum into another topic? Is it possible? I can't seem to do it.

thanks

Bert - go to your browser search bar at the top of your computer screen. Copy the complete address (http:// ) from inside that bar and paste it into your message. Be sure to capture the complete address as sometimes they extend past the display window. Also make sure there are spaces before and after the address or put it on it's own line so that it is not butted up against your text. That should do it.

Thanks Jeff. I tried that. Still won't work for me. It looks like a good link, being underlined in red. But when previewing the post, the link won't work. Is the problem in the preview post function?

I don't use the preview so I can't say. I put my "content" posts together in Word including any links or photos I want, and then paste everything into the submission window. If something doesn't show up correctly (or I find a spelling or grammar error) I use the edit function to make repairs.

I am using Internet Explorer on a Windows PC if that makes any difference.

I'll try linking one of your topics and see what happens, going directly to Add Reply.

Here we go.

Glad it worked. Computers can be baffling at times. Cameras too.
