The last time I attended the McMinnville show, it was a tad sparse both in models and vendors. However, I hear the show was really invigorated by the recent move, and this years edition was enjoyed by the Seattle modelers that attended.

Over the mountain west of DC in VA. As the water flows and winds blow from west to east, it keep the contamination down with a natural barrier in between.

Next year, schedule your visit around the end of April and visit one of the best 1 day Model Contest and shows in the USA.

Model Classic 2017

Don't tell me you live in the Shenandoah Valley, also known as heaven on earth. The most beautiful place I've ever been. One reason I'd like to see DC nuked is that it would prevent the spread of it into the valley.

30 years ago Manassas was a wonderful little town. Now it has been swallowed whole by the DC monster. I'd hate to see the same thing happen to the Valley.

Alright, I won't tell you. :P

Lived most of my life here. When I could live anywhere in the USA and "do what I do", I choose to live here exactly for the reasons you describe.

If you tell me you live in New Market, I'll die of jealousy.

It's less than an hour south of me... Go thru often. Has some nice Antique shops and a great used book store.

Are you green yet? :D

Well guys Ajax 36 is now history! There was as many vendors as last year, and pretty much the same split between stash sellers, store, & e-stores. They had 590 entrants putting 690 models on the tables & a good time was had by all!!!!
