Hi As far as I know there is plenty F-16 kits, but which is best for block 30 version. I'm bit confused with different engines and intakes. And I don't need armament as it's going to be Minute Men plane Cheers Ami |

Ami, Here's a F-16 production block description: F-16 Variants To your question: * the 1st Hasegawa release of an F-16C kit is a pretty good representation of a block 30 aircraft. As Hasegawa revised their molds to incorporate the block 40/50 & later changes, they added that the box titles, so look for an older release labeled, simply, F-16C. * the RoG F-16 kit is probably the best kit. It was released in the US under the Monogram label. It has pretty much all the parts to do any F-16 version/ block. However, RoG left out the bulged main-landing gear doors. You'll have to source them from another kit, after market vendor or scratch build your own. * Italeri and Fujimi released F-16C kits. I'm not familiar with them, but might be an option. HTH!

Yep as RJ said, the Revell/Monogram is the one to get. Even if it says block 50/52, it does not make a real 50/52, only the 5/10/15/20/25/30/32 blocks. Make sure to get the "C" boxing as i am not sure if the A and AM (MLU) come with the "C" tail and GE engine. The only issue i have heard on the Revell single seat Viper is that it has a bit of a "hump" behind the canopy. The Tamiya Viper is near perfection, but only builds as a 50/52 out of the box. |

Thanks for answers, now I just have to find correct version as only versions I see at my pushers at the moment are MLU and Tamiya Block 50 kits. Cheers Ami |

I think the Revell kit Ruud refers to is 04633. This was certainly one of the best F-16 kits going until the Tamiya arrived.
