Not a well attended show but with gas at north of $4 a gallon in California it didn't suprise me. Well run show...good vendors, friendly folks, and a great venue. Hardly any 1/48 WW2 stuff...weird, the 1/32 greatly outnumbered 1/48. It will be interesting to see if this was a fluke or a new trend. I'm happy to say our "dead scale" was fairly well populated with some very nice builds. Here are a few... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

A few more...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My Ar 96B won a first in its category...my E15K1 was 2nd, the Ki-27b 3rd...but then there were only two other models in the category...kind of sad. Allied singles was better populated though. My P-40B took best 1941 subject. ![]() Joe |

Overall, they look fine.) Looks like someone tried to pick the Spit up by the fuselage sides...

Congrats on your awards Joe! I'm glad to see your Ar96 picked up an award....and 1st place! It realy is a very nice model. Nice pics of some of the other 72 scalers. I recognize a few from last year's IPMS/USA Nats. BTW, Some serious work done on that P-51D. :o I wonder who built it. Anyone we know? -Bert |
