Here are some pictures from our club's show this weekend gone. It was another pretty successful show. I think we are getting a good mix of models.

We also have a special award we run each year called the Kittyhawk Cup. The idea is you build a specified kit which is affordable, so it is a 1/72 new release or readily available kit.(this year it was the Airfix MiG 15) OOB, though you can change the colour scheme if you desire and What-Ifs are allowed as well.

Here are some of the Kittyhawk cup entries:

Hi,
Some lovely models there but I've got to ask for the story behind the triplane.

Cheers Steve

It is a What If, one of our club members is an exclusive What If modeller and does mainly Axis type. You can find him over at http://www.whatifmodelers.com/, his username is Allan.

The guy who did the Boeing 307 is Da Man!

Many thanks for the photos. Is there a link to an online photo album with more? We modellers are never satisfied. :D

The gent who built the B307 is a great modeller, he builds anything to do with the Vietnam War in 1/72. He also built the C-130, Bell 204, Sikorsky S55, Loa Air Force C-47 and a C-46 just visible in the shot with the C-47.

Here is a link to the Album:

WARNING .... not all the models are 1/72 :D
