A fun show in Louisville today! I don't know where they got all the models, but the raffle was HUGE. Roughly 240 models were entered in the show, 1/72 scale was well represented. Great hospitality, everybody had a good time! As a bonus, there was a small car show on the grounds which included a beautifully-restored WWII Ford-built Jeep. I had a few pictures which did not turn out well, hopefully David can add some more. Here is a sample of what was there:

Time spent modeling is not deducted from your lifespan.

I spent most of my money on beer and women. The rest of it I just wasted.

Thanks to all who came to the Louisville show. We really appreciate y'all coming down. We had a great time and the show was a real success.

72nd scale was well represented and was by far the largest number of aircraft entries. Not bad for a "dying scale" :)

Nice shots! Great to see Aussie subjects being modelled over there and a nice mix of older and and more modern subjects.

OK, I have sufficently recovered enough from the contest and the post contest activities (preparing the winner's list, drinking, etc.) to post a few photos. All I can say is the I was in a rush so the photos are not nearly the quality of Jeff's.

Thanks, Ralf! Much appreciated.

There were many outsanding models there, I really don't see how the judges can make their choices, they all look so good. I have posted the best pictures, but many of my pictures didn't come out good enough to show. Thanks to David for getting good pics of some of the other models.
