^_^

I'll wait for the pic of the first built-up one to be set side-by-side with a Tiger Moth.

Typical... Just when I was studying a way of converting a couple of old Airfix Tiger Moths into a SV4...

The fourth box art is published (Aerobatics) in FRROM site :

FRROM

as well as TESTS SHOTS of sprue and clear parts.

Every kit will get two cowlings (Gipsy and Renault) and three canopies (Two Belgian, closed : two seater and Manchots, and the usual windshield for pilot and copilot)

I cannot believe that none of these kits will offer Belgian WWII markings.
Very disappointing.

Well - life is made of choices (three profiles per box). We considered having the decals for a belgian WWII machine, but we thought post war Stampes were more known than the first ones, for once (quite limited use before May 1940). Color was 'Tango' overall, some mix of orange and pink (also used post WWII), with roundels and number. Not very spectacular (we also have to add the two somewhat semi-circular 'protections' under lower wing - not really difficult). Windshields will be provided in every box, so they may be used for these first belgian Stampes

The most difficult part for WWII Stampes would be to find the belgian cockades and numbers.

Prortotype and prototype backup also are historically important (all red OO-ATC, OO-ATD).

Stampes are slightly delayed, they should be in Prague around the 20 th of May (2015). Boxes and decals are published in FRROM site : www.frrom.com

We will get these boxes:
FR0024 Stampe S.V.4b Belgium, decals for three planes
- V33 orange and dayglo red, with Training School crest (penguin) on fuselage
- V18 of the Manchots Aerobatic Team, aircraft in black and white, red and white arrows on top of upper wing, big Penguin on rudder
- V23 all silver with yellow fuselage and wings stripes
FR0025 Stampe S.V.4c France, decals for three planes
- Aéronavale, aircraft 23 in escadrille 50.S (S.V.4c n°45), please have a look at the boxart, above
- ALAT, S.V.4c n°360 code L-Q, overall green
- F-BDEE, S.V.4c n°586 of SFA (Service de la Formation Aéronautique) overall aluminium with orange dayglo panels
FR0026 Stampe S.V.4b United Kingdom, Decals for three planes:
- In RAF camouflage, aircraft borrowed by Donnet and Divoy to escape to England, fitted with the modified exhaust (box art)
- Same aircraft shortly after arrival in England, still partly registered OO-ATD, with RAF roundels
- G-ATKC, used by Tiger Club
FR0027 Stampe S.V.4a/c Aerobatics, decals for four planes:
- F-BDGI single-seat, Marcel Charollais ' S.V.4a (yellow and red)
- Same plane without letters F-BDGI, with red arrows on top of upper wing (please see box art
- F-BDNM, a S.V.4a at St-Yan (black 9), n°668

No doubt we will see many colourful schemes with these kits...

Looking forward to this one, will have to get a couple (and some serials to do the later one with C roundels!)
