As you probably know we've announced our first aircraft model kits in 1/72 during the Nurnberg fair. Now it's time to share some details, below you can find box arts for both versions and CAD pictures showing the models from different angles.

Both kits will be available around the middle of this year. The tooling is brand new and these two planes are just the beginning of our "Polish Wings" series!

I have two Mistercraft models, one started :P

If I get any more informations I will post them here, so far I have no idea when it will be released.

PS. That Spanish version is rather "What-If", I have never saw reliable source about.

Really? I haven't checked it yet. Well then I could choose Romanian or Polish marking, that's not a problem. Thanks for warning Krysztof.
I hope they will have success with this new kit. I'm still waiting for new kits of PZL-37 and PZL-23 and other planes from 39"campaign...

Indeed. What is known is that at least a single civilian RWD-8 was registered in Spain before the Civil War, but no one knows for sure whether it survived to be used in the conflict.

It isn't listed in Howson's book, which is still the best book in the English language. There could well be something better in Spanish.

Thanks, Krzysztof! Much appreciated. I am very interested in IBG's new RWD-8s, as well as in other kits planned as part of their announced "Polish Wings" series.

I'm interested too. The fledgling Israeli Air Force had an RWD-8 and an RWD-13 on strength at the time of the War of Independence.

Cheers,

Larry

Also RWD-15 was sold to Palestine, and was destroyed in 1948.

Well I have decals for Israeli RWD-8, I was planning to use it with Modelcraft RWD-8, but now I drop that idea.

Yes it does. Author made a good effort of one from test shots. Even a good save where he realised he had wrong undercarriage on. Looks like a nice kit.

Thanks for the update. Btw, what is wrong the wings in the IBG kit, for Arma Hobby to step in to address the issue?
