Jeff Time spent modeling is not deducted from your lifespan. I spent most of my money on beer and women. The rest of it I just wasted. | |

Gee, I don't know--by the time you filter out the jets and the German subjects and anything by Trumpeter and the helicopters, it's affordable enough

Looks like Polish companies are omitted. This year is going to be really great for people building Polish planes in 1/72. Definitely is not a dying scale. IBG (first time making planes in 1/72) IBG 72502 RWD-8 DWL 72 middle of the year IBG 72501 RWD-8 PWS 72 middle of the year IBG RWD-8 Aeroplast (also first time making planes in 1/72) Aeroplast 9040 An28 (looks like this or next month) Aeroplast 9041 M28 transport version (looks like this or next month) Aeroplast 9042 M28 patrol version (looks like this or next month) Aeroplast 9040 C-145 (looks like this or next month) |

It also looks like it leaves out the non-Eduard Czech companies. Nothing about the La-5s, La-7 and P-51s from KP, etc. |

Please note; if you cut yourself with the X-acto and nothing comes out you've sold too much!!! Yes my wallet will be bleeding money this year with all the great kits coming down the pipe!! I'm probably already over budget with the surprise Be-12!!

a 1/72 F-5E/F would be great. Wasn't their F-5A the Esci/Italeri with extra resin? If not WP, then maybe AFV can down size their 1/48 one? Yesh, i know about the list missing some companies completely. Still, what a list (even if Trumpeter and Hobbyboss kits sometimes take 10 years before they come out). Hasegawa and Tamiya better get back in the 1/72 game or they will be lapped! Or not. Still what a great time to be a 1/72 modeler!

Isn't it just weird as all get out that Hasegawa hasn't produced a new 1/72nd a/c in years and years? Sad there's nothing new from Fine Molds too. Just sayin'. I need to lay low on purchases. A forum member on another forum sold me over 100 of his 1/72nd WWI kits at $1.00 each to clear out his stash. Shhhhhhh, I'm still trying to find places to stash the stash. Warren |
