Looks interesting. Need to do some research on my AS365 variants, a couple of RN examples as per the kit and an Army Air Corps (SAS) version are on my 'wants' list.

I do love the Matchbox style packaging!

IIRC the old Matchbox kit was the earlier AS365N variant

Hmmm, so I wonder if this might possibly be able to be used for a USCG variant?

It will still take some work, right off the bat the small window and associated door on the left side needs to go. Probably a better start than the Matchbox / Revell kit though for a current HH-65C as it looks like it has the larger tail "rotor". It also needs a nose job, the HH-65C has a large radar in the nose, so sticks out more.

As a new tool, maybe we will get lucky and they will release a correct HH-65C version.

Ahhh.... Murphy's 1st Law of Modelling strikes again!!! I am nearing completion of a Z-9 model converted from the Matchbox/Revell kit. I am planning to finish it as a Lao People's Liberation Army example, as I often see these flying over my home.

On the plus side, I was planning to do another couple of Z-9's at some stage, so at least I can use the new kit and avoid mucking about with a conversion. I wonder if they are planning to release a version with the extended nose cone?

Any new kit on the market is good news.
