Maybe handy for those looking to update an older kit though! |

I don't get it. Quick boost is providing accurate props for a kit that doesn't need it, but we modelers are howling for accurate props for the Revell Halifax and after 2+ years nobody answers the call? I'll go back to my corner... Tim |

It takes more than just accurate props to fix the Halifax kit. In fact they probably wouldn't fit! You are right, model companies are weird.... I should know! |

For the Halifax, Aeroclub provided replacement props as part of their comprehensive engine cowling/nacelle replacement sets. Better props are also available with the Freightdog replacement cowlings. These sets do not address the too-wide nacelle/cowling but are a tremendous improvement on the kit. I've a number of other Do.17 kits, although perhaps only one Z (the Frog). I presume that the Quickboost parts will be a good improvement on the Frog bits, but what about the ones on the RS Do.17M? |
