Now if they'd only release the YB-60 they announced a year or two ago!
Cheers,

I wonder if it is part fiberglass (likely fuselage and wing) and part plastic (detail bits) like many of the other AMonster kits. I'm tempted, but if I'm going to splurge on something that expensive, I suspect the Hughes H-4 would be first in line.

Happy to see this--but it's way too big for me. Quite apart from where I'd put the built-up, I'd have to work on the garage floor--it's too big for the bench.

Scroll down the link I posted. The "test build" pictured appears to me to be all polystyrene.

I would bet that this is like their other 'big' kits, most larger parts are the fibreglass material! I think the difference in colour between the nacelles and body show this. I have the IL-38 and the fuse is fibreglass but cannot remember if they did the wings that way!?

I did see the picture and noted that it looked like all one color, and not a different one for plastic and fiberglass. Not sure that is definitive, since there are ways to make them look the same. I guess I'll just wait til the reviews start getting generated. It's not a kit I need to have on day 1 of release in any case.

Time spent modeling is not deducted from your lifespan.

I spent most of my money on beer and women. The rest of it I just wasted.

This one will be a big dilemma. I'd love to get one, but it is a huge kit and I'm sure way beyond my skill level.

Plus, you'd have to rent a second apartment to house the finished kit.
