...and I ordered 2! ^_^ ^_^
It looks great, lots of options in 1 box!! Although I thought I saw some nasty sink marks on the 2 props? Here's a link to the detail pics;http://bigplaneskits.com/shop/uncategorize...s-turbo-porter/
Check out the exhausts in one of the last pics! -_-
Now for the hordes of decals coming from the different manufacturers!?!?

Neat! I always thought the Porter looked like somebody nailed together a bunch of mismatched leftover airplane parts..like something out of Mad Max. Gotta love an aircraft that just says "I'm here to work, not look pretty!" B)

Thanks for the link. I am tempted to order a couple but there is no indication of postage costs on the website. I even did a partial checkout to see if postage pops up but... nothing!

When you ordered, did you find that P&P is included in the cost? If not, was the cost reasonable?

Cheers,
James

There was something that indicated I would get an e-mail regarding postage. I suspect that if it is too high one could opt out then and there??!?

Yes, that is the impression I garnered too. That is unacceptable to me - I want to know P&P up-front before I commit to a purchase, rather than leave the option open to the vendor's whim.

That said, I suppose there is always a chance to opt out at the final stage, as you suggested.

Looking at the sprue shots it looks pretty good. If we get some to sell we may have to include more appropriate crew seats for the Australian version. The crew seats were armoured but the passenger seats look okay

Don't know where my head has been lately!!!
My Porters are on the way and if I had read my e-mails more carefully I would have seen & SHOULD have remembered the $10 shipping charge!?!?
Will advise when in hand!!

Got my kits today so that's 3 weeks from order to delivery!
There are sink marks on both prop spinners but easy enough to fix with some putty and a sanding stick. They would have been wiser to mold the spinners separate - less likely to have sink marks; also, then the blades would be easier to feather.
It looks like most of the parts for the AU-23 are in this boxing, they say it will be another couple of months for the release.
The etch fret is quite comprehensive and the exhaust pipes are superb!!
