I just became aware that Philippe Martin did the master for an interesting Italian Kits' conversion set for the Re 2001 Delta. Looks nice and might try to get the set if I can locate an extra Sword Re 2001 kit: Linky The link includes also the resin set for a experimental bomb type, trialled on 'regular' Re 2001 shortly before the Italian armistice of Sep. 43 (the device was filled with some sort of liquid oxygen explosive, similar to napalm, me thinks). Liquid oxygen and sawdust - not what I'd want to take up in a plane but I guess they pumped in the Lox just before they dropped it... I hope so! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxyliquit Looks interesting...... there is a contact page on his web site. |

Ed, I think the set can be ordered only from Italian Kits: Linky They have quite a few interesting resin conversion sets there; I am tempted by the Merlin-engined G.59s, but again, first I must find some extra SH kits. |

Corresponding with Philippe, I see that it can fit the Supermodel kit also. He doesn't exactly recommend it but I have a couple of spare ones..... http://www.master194.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=97287 https://translate.google.com.au/translate?h...287&prev=search |

Hmmm... I sold my remaining Supermodel Reggianes a while ago. Still, their Re 2001 provides a better basis for work than either the Re 2000 and Re 2002. This also reminds me that I must yet get myself the Re 2002 Ariete from Sword! Thanks for the links! |
