I'm really not sure if this is between the wars or WWII . . I guessed WWII. Fairly extensive mods to the fuselage to move the cockpit, shorten the engine area and a few other mods. It started as a Hasagawa Birdcage Corsair. REal a/c fuselage was painted silver so I used (I think) antique silver.

Sure looks nice to me!

I think this is the first 72nd scale Corsair prototype i ever saw. Oddly enough, given the kits basic nature this might be a case where it might be better to use a Hasegawa kit to generate a prototype rather than the more expensive Tamiya kit. None of those pesky recessed panel lines to fill in, or restore.

That's real neat! The Corsair prototype was quite a unique looking plane,

I congratulate you on your effort... Do you have more photos?

Nice! I've wanted to do an XF4U-1 ever since Wayne Moyer's article in Scale Modeler, about a million years ago.
Ongoing: Italeri MiG-28

Thanks all . . as to photos . . I'll see. If I don't it's pretty easy for me to shoot some more.

Thanks again.
