I now have the RS Models Reggiane 2005 in for review. I would like to build it out of the box, but have no ideas about actual colors. What's a good match for the cockpit "interior green"? How about the "exterior green"? TIA! |

There is more than one verdi anticorrosione tone; one of our Italian friends can tell us the best one for Reggiane. My quick and dirty on Italian a/c is to use British interior green-gray, though I think it is a little dark and perhaps not green enough. Given the low light in the cockpit (and possibly through a closed canopy), it's not where I want to spend a lot of time on accuracy. |

A good source for interesting info and opinions on Italian aircraft is the stormomagazine: here's what they had on interior of Re 2005: http://stormomagazine.com/phpbb2/viewtopic...t=reggiane+2005 Here's a direct links to their color guide: http://www.stormomagazine.com/RegiaAeronau...rsinWWII_3a.htm |
