I was wonder what the members here think, I just looked at great websitte by Mark Styling , Aviation Ilustration & artist, many of you may know his site? Anyway is has great side views in great detail on many planes including Me Bf109's .. He has rendered the actual " Franz Von Wera 109" depicted by Airfix, The Query is that Airfix shows the spinner a mix of black & white, where as the above webiste shows this plane with a red & white spinner. Who's correct? i personally like the red option .
Thanks.

From the B&W photos I've seen I would agree with black and white with a red back plate on the spinner.

I think some one on Britmodeller said the backing plate still exists in a musium somewhere and it is in RLM 70 Black Green.
