Eduard's Hellcat is likely the most-built kit on this forum, certainly the most-built recently. As Kevin suggested on Bert's thread, it would be nice to see everyone's builds in one place, so here's a thread.

Lovely Hellcats chaps.

I'm biased, but I do like the Pacific Fleet schemes.

Thanks everybody for contributions and pics - proud selection !

Have you chosen the title "Eduard Hellcats" on purpose ?

With "Grumman Hellcats" there might be more contributions maybe ...... just a thought.

Point well taken, Rolf, "Grumman Hellcats" would be more inclusive. A better fit too given the evolution and placement of this thread.

This was a pre-existing thread. I just moved it over here as I believed it was done as a "for example".

There is another thread with Fine Molds Bf109's that I had considered moving here, but I did wonder about the concept. Sometimes it seems best to narrow it to the individual manufacturer and sometimes not. I guess it depends on what use is to be made.

FWIW, I never saw this as a manufacturer-specific concept, although admittedly it did grow out of the fact that all those Eduard F6F kits were being built at the same time. I would think it should be "Grumman F6F Hellcats" and any model in any markings (what-if included, if you've a mind to do one of those) would find a place in the string. Again, the idea would be to get as many photos of built models as possible.

This is my Hellcat, it is the Eduard F6F-5N Profipack.
It is marked with kit decals for a bird from VMF-511, flying from the USS Block Island (CVE-106).
This has to be the best 1/72 scale kit I have built! VERY enjoyable to build.
