Sure, I got one! This is the Revell Mk. Vb with Gunze paint, Eduard photoetch cockpit and flaps, brass cannons, Quickboost prop, spinner, and exhausts:

Your build of the Tamiya Vb tropical reminds me I need one of those!

That is quite a collection! Nice to see the Dutch Schreiner Spitfire.

I have to admit that my collection only has one Spitfire, a PR Mk.XI by MPM with Rising decals "allied reccon birds". Build this kit for my wife because it has her name on the nose :) .

Now I think its funny that Bert started this thread because I know he isn't a fan of the Spitfire! LoL

Great stuff guys!!

I have only built one in recent years...it's not my best work but I really enjoyed this little Airfix kit. All issues are entirely self induced. I have a ton of unbuilt Spits and just got the new Airfix Mk XXII. I guess I need to start building some of them!

Sorry for the pics...need to take some better ones but I'm on the road.

We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

All very nice!

I am especially impressed that Libor has done such a variety of top notch Spitfires. He must have a passion for the plane as I can't imagine building so many variants of the same plane unless you really have an interest in it.

I'll try to get pictures of my just completed AZ Mk VII on soon. I am a slow builder and even slower photographer....

Cheers

Finally got some photos of my latest Spitfire, albeit taken at the local model show yesterday (more pics to come about this later). (note - replaced with later shots after pb blocking repairs)

This is the AZ Spitfire Mk VII in the colours of 453 Squadron RAAF stationed in Skaebrae in Scotland.

Mods needed to the kit are filling the pilot side door, adding a rear pressure bulkhead to the cockpit and drilling an air intake in the port wing root.

Cheers
