Remember Monogram's Huey Cobra Team twin kit? Well, this is half of it. For decades, this was the only decent Vietnam Cobra in this scale. I wanted to use a Microscale decal for this one. Missing from the kit was the I.R. suppressor "toilet bowl" exhaust which I got from a later Fujimi kit. The tail rotor is on the wrong (early) side of the tail. I won't tell anyone if you won't.

I had the later, single kit release in the stash forever. Finally built it for the Fort Douglas Museum here in SLC. |
