She also says that she has never met a child who stated that he wanted to become a wizard after reading her books. When asked about her religious beliefs, Rowling says that yes, she is a Christian, and her actions bear out that statement. J.K Rowling is a member of the Church of Scotland, and her older daughter was baptized into that faith. Rowling also gives a substantial amount of money to charities that focus on humanitarian and social justice issues. Wow.
