Cos=Cosinus Sin=Sinus ľ= average n(can't type it here)=pi etc... ľ is the coefficient of friction, for one thing, and they explained the whole formula, its talking about friction, acceleration, length..., and it is ridiculously complicated, I just thought it was funny, definitely not easy to understand the formula, anyone can plug in some values to an equation if they feel like it

Im 16. This is part of the physics of the trebuchet. This equation is used to calculate the angle of a certain metal rod on the trebuchet that releases the sling at optimal time. You find the coefficient of static and kinetic frction first, so you know when the ring starts sliding, and what its acceleration will be afterwards with the coefficient of kinetic friction, the length of the rod, and some different angles of things (the counterweight, the finger in comparison to the arm), the tension of the sling... sub it all together, and we get that mess of an equation, I just thought it was funny because the person who wrote the artical was like, this is easy, and I was like, WHAT THE FUCK, NO ITS NOT, and posted it here in my rage

Then Sal and Jam and company got bored and deposed me...although I kind of voluntarily stepped down. As far as actually regulating the board I think I did a pretty good job. I just like to joke around and not take life too seriously. Cases in point, my spam threads when I got banned, being Melinamaniac, inviting Hoytamaniac to SoL, et al.

And thus I stepped down, had a laugh and disappeared for a while. And then came back. And then got banned from Agecomm. I have nothin' against the guys from SoL...only a few of them are morons, and said morons don't go to this board (heck, they hardly go to SoL these days either).
