Fake games are when Asian people buy burnable CDs from an electronics store, and burn those free games from the torrents onto them. They then sell those games for about 30 cents. And Gooback, if you continuously play your Xbox 360 for a few months, it will break inevitably. For some reason, the cord that connects the processor to another piece of hardware in the xbox (I forgot if it's the RAM or the disk drive or the hard drive) either shrinks or disconnects, causing your xbox to die of General Hardware Failure (Three-quarters of a red ring). There are two easy fixes; either send it off to Microsoft for a free repair (Assuming that you're in Japan or a Western country) and you'll get it back in about a month; or you can try fixing it yourself. Ways to fix your 360 by yourself: 1.The Towel Trick Wrap your Xbox 360 in a towel; make sure to cover all air vents, and then switch it on and leave it on for about 10 - 15 minutes. It will then overheat. Turn off the xbox 360, let it cool down for about 30 minutes, and then switch it back on. The increased heat is supposed to extend the shrunken cords or something, temporarily reconnecting your processor to other hardware. This tricks effect only lasts for a few weeks though, then your 360 re-dies. Using this trick repeatedly will permanently break it, and void your warranty with Microsoft, because damage through purposeful overheating of your console isn't covered, apparently. 2.Repair the cords yourself It's simple really, but it permanently voids your warranty, you may need to buy an extra fan, and you'll never be able to take your 360 anywhere with you again, because it involves taking apart your xbox, and leaving it apart. There are some online guides which teach you how to do this. |

Getting more complicated, it isn't actually the cords that get disconnected; cords is simply a word that I use to make you imagine it more easily. They are in fact white bulbs that are part of the processing unit of your 360, that immediately begin to fry from the moment you begin playing games. Playing more processor-intensive games is supposed to make your 360 break faster, I think. Overheating the console gets the broken bits from the bulbs to expand and attach with the rest of the bulbs. And don't BS me saying that overheating a console isn't enough for that; a metal that melts at a low temperature is in fact used for making computer hardware such as graphics cards and, of course, processors. Overheating a console is perhaps just enough heat. You can feel your console once you've overheated it with the towel trick, if you like. You might burn yourself, though. |
