I remember he came to our school once and told us stories from the war, I remember one of the stories of when he's friend's head got lopped off by a piece of an exploded plane. We don't hear from WW2 vets though, we just hear from Afghanistan vets now because we're at war right now, which I understand, but I also think that its important to not forget WW2 which I think is more important to remember.
