I'm really starting to loose hope in modern human intellect and the human language itself.

Gooback posted a post a short time ago that he found a dictionary putting up bad definitions for certain words/short phrases.

Now take a look at this

I think unicorns have a higher chance of existing than gods do. I mean, if a mare fell into the ocean and a narwhal raped it, then the mare might just give birth to a unicorn.

My post wasnt on stupid words, it was just that the root words were used as adjectives in the definition, or the words were rearranged, but putting meh in the dictionary is on a different level, in that bad english is now official, BIG difference here

Lose*

Why is this making you lose hope? Is there something unintelligent about adding words to a language if they've become popular and broadly accepted enough?

I heard about this addition from my english teacher, and I'll say the same thing I told him; "It's about time".

yeah, added the extra, "o," by accident.

I'm not actually losing hope at all, I simply said it for humour. (Damn spellcheck says humour is incorrect. Silly Americanos )
