Allow me to put it in categorical form as I once did in my middle school logic course. All times times I am hurt is bad. No part of me is non-me. All non-mes are others. All times others hurt are bad. The logic simply doesn't follow. I find it amusing how strongly you'll defend the golden rule, a rulet that simply doesn't exist if it is a godless world.

Being hurt feels bad Being hurt is bad Therefore, hurting others is bad It's called empathy : "Empathy is the capacity to recognize or understand another's state of mind or emotion." I'm not about to take this into religion, because you pretty much said you'd kill yourself if u didn't have it.
