What is? My morals? No it's not a crutch, how would it be a crutch?

It would be an emotional crutch, because without it you fall to crude emotion primal instincts, can you not rise above that as a modern man? It is funny, man thinks himself to have come so far, but even today man is easy prey to his emotion, war will continue, are you so weak that you cannot pull yourself above this, must you rely on the crutch of crude emotions to give yourself purpose?

You poor thing, your emotions are your most valuable asset. It's true that we must use emotions to help shape our morals, but emotions aren't what make morals. Morals are what made us different than other animals who rely only on emotion and instinct. We use logical reasoning to make morals. Emotions are some of the data, if you will, we take into consideration when making these morals.

If anything, you are beginning to sound much more nihilistic than any atheist I have met.

As far as the "animal vrs human", I agree, but to continue my satire, I would say it is only the weak who seek to run away from the freedom of the animal, that none can accuse me of moral corruption.

Logic? Morals?
I'm sorry but logic? Logic does not make me feel guilty about killing a man, nor does it make me feel uplifted after bringing a man off the streets.

It's true in a sense, however, most of it is satire. It is deeper than that I suppose however, it is the only alternatative path to me, it is, believe in what I do, or in my satire. It is more nihilistic than any atheist because it is the ultimate extreme of one side. I am an extremist. I believe in the ultimate "exteme" because, as far as I can see, it is the only real escape from the darkness I see creeped into everything else.

I've thought about it, and ultimately this is where you go wrong. You assume man will keep going, haha evolution and this dark universe of ours favors our human race no more than the wooly mammoths. There is a great truth that it takes more faith to be a blindly hopefull atheist than a Christian. You maight no think of yourself as an optimist Jam, but if what you've said thus far you certainly are a general of their numbers.

Are you going to keep putting words in my mouth?

Did I imply man will last forever? No? No, of couse not Then shut up.No but what I said remained relevant.

Did what I said even have anything to do with atheism? No?Yes actualy. Then shut up.

If you think I'm being optimistic then give me one example where a conflict brought about the end of society, oh wait we're still here so you can't. With the exception of maybe large scale nuclear war, human conflict will not destroy society. So tell me how that is 'blindly hopeful' when hundreds of thousands of years proves it correct.

Responces put in above post.^

Bastards copied goldfinger. Covered that chick in oil, like that chick covered in gold.
In battle, in the forest, at the precipice in the mountains,
On the dark great sea, in the midst of javelins and arrows,
In sleep, in confusion, in the depths of shame,
The good deeds a man has done before defend him.

Believe it or not, it's logic that shapes the morals. We know it feels bad to be hurt, so logically, we figure it would be bad to hurt others. We put together what we feel and what we know to make our morals. Apparently this is funny to you, but from what I'm reading, you seem to be living in a different world from the rest of us.

This is not logic. Allow me to put it in categorical form as I once did in my middle school logic course.

All times times I am hurt is bad.
No part of me is non-me.
All non-mes are others.
All times others hurt are bad.

The logic simply doesn't follow.

I find it amusing how strongly you'll defend the golden rule, a rulet that simply doesn't exist if it is a godless world.

The logic is actually very straight forward, and doesn't need a god to exist.

Being hurt feels bad
Being hurt is bad
Therefore, hurting others is bad

It's called empathy : "Empathy is the capacity to recognize or understand another's state of mind or emotion."

I'm not about to take this into religion, because you pretty much said you'd kill yourself if u didn't have it.
