Ok so I went to church tonight and it was special cause the big festival is starting yea and like they did one of the readings in mexican...
In battle, in the forest, at the precipice in the mountains,
On the dark great sea, in the midst of javelins and arrows,
In sleep, in confusion, in the depths of shame,
The good deeds a man has done before defend him.

That's a lie, I know, since Dragon doesn't play games.

Alien Shooter 2.

And I don't really play games anymore. Mainly because every single game I've downloaded in the last month didn't work.

Let me guess. A game from the 90s, bad graphics, and bad gameplay.

Now run along and play your aoe3 demos.

On the dark great sea, in the midst of javelins and arrows,
In sleep, in confusion, in the depths of shame,
The good deeds a man has done before defend him.

Why are graphics such an issue? So many old games are ugly but have awesome gameplay that MORE than makes up for it IMO.

Look at the old NES games, like Punch-Out!! or any of the SMB games. So old-looking, but the gameplay was top notch.

Same can be said for Wolfenstein 3D.

There's a difference between acceptably-bad graphics and... unacceptably-bad graphics.

That depends; the concept of 3D was incredibly new at the time of that game being released and it was the game that ultimately made PC-based FPS games what they are now.*

*Much better than FPS games on other platforms.

Well, graphics to me are important (I'm a full aesthetics man,) but there's a lot of old games which I really like and, obviously, do not have the graphics of Crysis.
