:S
i'm bummed out... my single older brother (his wife died of breast cancer like 3 years ago, raising 3 kids on his own) took my nephew to the ER because he was not wanting to eat or drink for a week now and then he started crossing his eyes. They immediately thought head issue so they checked him out..scan and whatnot to find that he had a walnut sized tumor in the MIDDLE of his brain!!!!!
They had to relieve the pressure and did a biopsy on the tumor, turns out it's cancerous but they don't know what kind AND on top of that it's in a very dangerous part of the brain....i don't know anything else yet. :(

I wish him luck, but don't let this get to you. Disease is everywhere and is a part of life. If it's only walnut sized, it should be able to be treated, but I don't really know since I'm not a doctor.

That's terrible to hear, but at the very least there's a chance that it could be something that's more easily treatable. Let's just wait for now and hope that it turns out to be that way.

Just. All of my hopes are with your nephew. We're with you. Not to worry. Support your bro. (Y) Or make a "good luck & get well" cake. I'm not superstitious, but hey, you never know. To the extent of the trivial medical knowledge I have, he's prolly going to go through surgery at least, so there will be an operation. To remove it. So I hope it goes very well.

Which is all I can do. Hope. :s

Hope he's okay :(
I'll pray for him and your family
In battle, in the forest, at the precipice in the mountains,
On the dark great sea, in the midst of javelins and arrows,
In sleep, in confusion, in the depths of shame,
The good deeds a man has done before defend him.

i dunno if you're religious but i'll pray from him anyway.

Damn, that sucks, don't worry though goodsbee, there's a chance that you showed the doctor before it had a chance to spread so with some treatment (radiation) the tumor will be easily removed. And I dont think they do surgery on the middle of the brain, but idk much about treatment these days. I hope he lives past this and that you and your brother are free from anymore tragedies in your lives

p.s. new nanotechnology has invented these nanocell things that can find and eliminate cancer cells :)

i know that feeling when you wake up after being sedated, like when I had my apendix removed, and they woke me up, I immediately felt this huge pain in my stomach and I was like screaming and shit and hitting the doctors and then they held my hands down and wheeled me out of the room lol it can be very frightening waking up to see the faces of surgeons all staring at you

but don't worry I'm sure he'll be fine, as long as you and your bro are there with him and the rest of his family, he wont be scared

Lmao, what the fuck?

I had two teeth removed once (not wisdom, but I have to get those taken out too pfff ) and I woke up and there was this annoying thingy on my finge and i wanted to take it off but i didnt. D: And then this chick came in and dragged me out of the bed and into a wheelchair and like frickin raced me outside to the car like as fast as possible and i was like wtf bitch i'm gonna puke. And then i get to the car and i'm omg i'm like pukin here bitch so I like puke all the way home (like 30 mins). And then i get home and i'm like holy shit.

They can kill the tumor with a gamma knife. Its three gamma rays that individually do no harm to tissue, but when they converge on a single point then only that single point is damaged.

Sharing your misery. I dont really want to read this, not really because I dont care but more because I dont like reading sad stories.

But yes before I get accused of something like trying to cause an argument I will leave you to your "sharing"
