ultra, you are full of shit, you have no idea bout anything in this mater. lets start off with the first point i want to make and go from there.

1) they call a baby it because they dont know if it is a boy or girl yet, but with recent advancements, you CAN infact tell. in fact most people anymore IF they find out, will start calling the baby he or she while its still in the uterus. and many people will even call the baby by name if they have it picked out before it is born. that makes your point there invalid.

2)Just as DHD said, it doesnt mater if a baby cant remember pain, they still feel it. they still feel fear, and what about all those bruises and broken bones.... of course it wouldnt remember HOW it got it but it still hurts even after its done. and of corse it doesnt remember why its scared, it justknows that its scared.

3) im not asking you to put yourself in her shoes, you couldnt comprehend it. more often than not, what is the sariest thing to a person? the unknown. so therefore if we go by what you say, a baby is scared it just doesnt know why, then that makes it worse. because not only are they scare, but they are scared of the unkown.

4) you will learn when you grow older and take classes on child development or if your smart enough, psychology. what happens to a baby when they are that age can highly influence (not determine) just influence what the baby will grow up to be like. its nature vs nature debate, and it has recently been proven that both take a significant role, they just havent figured out which is more dominant or if it varies from person to person. either way, your point of that they arent a real person yet because they cant think is invalid. they just simply havent matured enough to think yet, what makes them living is their ability to feel, not their ability to think. you saying they arent a person yet is like me saying you arent a person yet because you lack the mental capacity to understand what i just said and will probably dissagree with me, and still argue with me even thoguh you arent mature enough to think streight because you are still an adolecent, or in your case your intire life because mentaly retarded people never can think at the level normal people can, so therefore, your less human than that baby, at least it had a chance if it wasnt murdered of being able to think right.

exactley hyper, making his assumption of a baby not being human yet false as it still learns from the experiences braught to it in a humanistic type of way.
