CHEERIO! Posts: 21,769 Group: French Member #6 Joined: December 13, 2007	WELL MY DROOGIES! Today is TEH day. I have been released by my instructor, and I now have no less (no more either) than 20 minutes of solo. Yesssssssir, I flew alone today. It was a bit freaky since you suddenly realise that you're in the damn sky, alone, 700 feet above the ground, in a small thinger called a Cessna 152. I was nervous, sputtered a bit in the radio, but...nonetheless I landed with my lil' VY (that's "Victor Yankee" to you) twice alone in the small little paradise in the sky called the cockpit. My instructor was pretty happy, I guess it's like seeing your kid graduate at college or something, considering he taught me nearly everything I know about flying. ^^ LINK TO F-GHVY This is a picture of the Cessna I flew my first solo in today. Look carefully at it, for it may look small, perhaps a little bumbly, Victor Yankee flies great. :) Interesting Stats: My first solo's date: 09/09/09, that's right fruitah's, 9 is my lucky number now. At the time of this post, I have exactly (no more, no less) 10 hours of flying under my belt. This morning when I went to school I had 9h16, then we did 24 minutes of flying with my instructor, then I flew alone for 20 minutes. No more, no less than 10 hours. 600 minutes. .

By real i mean 2 major countries or collections of countries with equal strenght. And yes afganistan is real, but you get what im saying. This disclaimer voids me from any shit i will get for saying " real war"
