no, he got out of it because he had a good ass lawyer... i mean come on, same lawyer as OJ simpson, and HE wrote a book about killing his wife after he was found innocent. explain to me this, how in the hell did a little boy know where a berthmark by his penis was if the boy had never seen him naked? im not saying that the paretns were smart, they were stupid asses for letting the boy go over there over and again when they knew what was going on, they DID just wnat money but the fact remains. he got out of it, just because he wasn't found innocent, doesnt mean he wasnt guilty. |

"and HE wrote a book about killing his wife after he was found innocent. " quote from Ryker. I would call that proof of guiltiness. |

Hey ryker, remember, if it hasn't been proven, it should be assumed right. |

the thing is that we have the stupidest law ever that is in effect, its called double jepordy or however you spell it. you cant be tried for the same thing twice. so he got found innocent, well he came back and wrote a book about it, domt mater. he could get on national television and say you know what? i was lying, i DID kill my wife, and you know what? NO one could legaly do anything about it. and that is what happened. @ ultra, that could be thought of the other way, yes you should assume things until proven otherwise, ill just asume he is guilty until proven innocent as apposed to the other way around. i dont want to touch little boys, it makes me sick when someone does that to an innocent child. yes jack i do have a son, and a daughter, and if anyone ever touched them in that way, i would happily spend the rest of my life in prison for what i did to that individual. |

Are you kidding? Double Jeopardy is an extremely important law to have in effect. It forces the prosecution to pitch together the strongest case possible--otherwise they'll not have a second chance on the same evidence or charge--but, on top of that, means that a court can't keep prosecuting a person over and over again for the same thing even after they've been acquitted. What if a person is acquitted and they're completely innocent of a crime, but Double Jeopardy isn't enforced? The answer is simple: that person can be tried over and over again without any sort of reprocussion. It's not an immediately likeable law, but it's vital because of how it protects individuals. sometimes yes redemption, the law does protect the innocent, but every once in a while, i think that if some kind of substancial evidence comes out that wasnt available or known at the time of the trial and it DIRECTLEY links suspect then on a case by case basis the double jep law should be over turned. it should just be hard to over turn it, but not impossible. also, what does purgury have anything to do with anything? and ultra, quit being stupid, i do dislike MJ, because of what he is. i have absolutly NO respect for anyone who has ever taken advantage of any child. they should all burn unil an inch of death and left to die over days of suffering. |

sorry, but I thought lying in court was a pretty big crime. If OJ declares his innocence in court, then writes a book giving a confession, can't he be convicted of perjury? Alger Hiss was convicted of that even though it turns out he was indeed a communist. |
