I've decided to invade A414A.

And Imma just say... that I can't believe this place is still going after all those years. Some people have like 12,000 + posts. Seriously, you guys should be ashamed of yourself.

Also, all references to /b/ are lulz. Screw rules 1 and 2. I bid you all good day, numbnuts.

You are no longer welcome here.

We've had our 12,000 posts for, what, half a year, now? And you actually managed to tolerate History in the Making for a long enough period of time for you to accumulate 2,000 posts there. I don't even understand how that's humanly accomplishable.

I don't know how a person can consistently post on HITM, something about it just seems...wrong.

Dragon is always trying to resuscitate old threads. The atmosphere doesn't seem to be very companionable, either. That mingled with the forums skin and the fact that old threads still receive frequent replies make the place quite a chilling location to visit.

You're Dutch, you don't count. Your people have a centuries-long history of braving the unknown and terrifying, including when Peter Minuit landed in uncharted Manhattan because his old IP in the Netherlands had been banned on hundreds of sites and proxies did not yet exist.

That crazy Walloon(what was more or less Dutch in that time) Minuit ;). I guess that's why Stuyvesant moved from Curaçao to Manhattan, he didn't like the caribbean internet.

Well I didn't know you men so I delayed coming and then I came and all it was was these two giggly little girls that spammed.

I think unicorns have a higher chance of existing than gods do. I mean, if a mare fell into the ocean and a narwhal raped it, then the mare might just give birth to a unicorn.

Well, History in the Making is more for serious discussions, like politics, religion, philosophy, general news (although we do have Off-Topic and Technology sections), while A414A is more for spam and "teenager discussions" (as I call it). And profanity, of course. A while ago I came here and pretty much every post included an F word. (frusty)

EDIT: Oh and, HITM is generally more active. I don't know how you got 200 posts today, but if I had to take a wild guess, I'd say 90% of the posts aren't serious ones. The Israeli discussion is pretty much the only serious discussion I've seen on A414A in months (although, I admit, I only visit this place two or three times a month), and that's saying quite a lot, since that "serious discussion" would be considered spam on any serious forum. :/

Well, it's true. How many serious discussions have you had on A414A in the past, say, 2 months? There used to be quite a few serious debates before I first left, but now, good luck finding 3.

O rly?

Note that I'm not trying to knock your place and say it isn't good. The opposite actually, but "activity" is hardly a way to rate a forum as being better.

Generally, it's more active. The number of registered users is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is how many users post and how many posts they make. HITM has more active topics, too.

I don't know why you included that black forum, but each of my other forums has far more posts. :)

Well, at least you censored the F word.

I have no point. I'm just saying HITM and A414A are different types of forums and aren't even comparable, and if you want to compare the two's activity, you'll find HITM is generally more active.

And there, that's exactly what I'm talking about. Why does it matter how many posters there are or how many posts there are?

Postcounts for a forum don't make it any more qualified than postcounts for a poster do.
