Generally, it's more active. The number of registered users is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is how many users post and how many posts they make. HITM has more active topics, too.

I don't know why you included that black forum, but each of my other forums has far more posts. :)
And there, that's exactly what I'm talking about. Why does it matter how many posters there are or how many posters there are?

Postcounts for a forum don't make it any more qualified than postcounts for a poster do.
Well, when a forum has 20 posts per day, and most of them are spam, it does matter. We were comparing HITM's activity to A414A's.

Oh my fucking god, I just don't get why the fuck you fucking came to this fucking place in the first fucking place. I can't be fucked to fucking argue, as I simply don't give a fuck about fucking censoring the fucking word fuck for fuck's heavenly fuck, why don't you fucking fuck a fucking goat for everyone's fucking sake so we can all get some fucking peace instead off having to fuck ourselves (/= masturbation) all fucking day reading bitchy fucking idiotic dumbfuck posts that no one gives a flying fuck a-fucking-bout in the first fucking place.

But why does it matter? If the people there are having fun, who gives a damn if they're posting a lot or they aren't, or if their topics are "relevant?"

Over at TPC, you try and discuss religion or politics and you'll end up getting crucified by the membership there. We enjoy our worthless chatter and that's how we've always liked it. In fact one of the reasons why I like THIS board so much is because of the fact that it's another outlet for that, but it also gives me the occasional chance to discuss something serious for a change without being surrounded by nothing but serious discussion.

That's my point. It depends on what you want in a forum. If you want serious debates, there are forums for that, like HITM. If you want... "worthless chatter", there are also forums for that, like A414A. toast

Furthermore, having lost the last 10 or so games of SC2 rather pathetically, I'm going to spam to make myself feel better. You're probably wondering why it's going to make me feel better. Quite simply because Dragon says we spam here, and with a little luck, this will annoy him. It might not, but it's worth a shot. :D

I think unicorns have a higher chance of existing than gods do. I mean, if a mare fell into the ocean and a narwhal raped it, then the mare might just give birth to a unicorn.

Well, at least you censored the F word.

I have no point. I'm just saying HITM and A414A are different types of forums and aren't even comparable, and if you want to compare the two's activity, you'll find HITM is generally more active.
I can understand how you're overwhelmed with love and compassion for your forums, Dragon, but let's just make a little picture book of your forums so you can look at them from a third person perspective for once.

I like the fact that I can choose between about a dozen different skin designs more, but kudos to whoever made the blue skin here because it's way better than the green one.
The green one used to be very good, but Germee accidentally deleted a part of its code, which ended up stretching the posts too much :(

I tried signing up at your TCP boards, by the way, but the forum notified me saying that only staff members could create new accounts.

Indeed he does. We tried to get as many Agecomm "oldies" and SoL members as possible. Humility, PratJ, Unknown Cow, and others post there. Alkis used to post for a while (he was pretty annoying, though; always attacking conservatives and Christians. Sometimes rather hilariously), but then he moved to Mexico (I think) and hasn't posted since.
