luke, i am your mother Posts: 5,159 Group: Goddess Member #36 Joined: January 11, 2008	>__> interesting. but let me clear up the reason i love zombies. mainly it's because the stuff they are in often have the right amount of scariness/freakiness and gore along with a good dose of bad ass. i also find that decent movies in the genre often offers interesting insight into the human nature during tragedy/survival time - ie the whole having-to-kill-a-family/friend-turned-zombie dilemma which, makes me question how i would act in said scenario... and then i go off and draw up grand plans just in case there is a zombie attack. so i'm not really in love with zombies themselves, just the whole idea of a zombie outbreak.. though yes, i just wish someone would love me for my brains stored with infinite knowledge and wisdom and not my body

This, however, may be an exception. :O TF2 may be THE best game I have played and I do play a fair amount. The creativity that has gone into the decent choice of weapons is admirable (holy mackerel??? HHGTTG anyone?!), the perks of each class is diverse and if the maps bore you (albeit being really well thought out), there's custom made maps (mario world!) where game play is also different (zombies!!). there's 6 game modes, you get item drops randomly or by earning an achievement and hats to make your character look funky. so really, it's the best game. i am now decent at mw2 because of playing enough as sniper as well as playing killing floor.. which also is a real fun game.

I could go on for hours on the faults and aberrations and the incalculable joys of playing that dreadful, perniciously satisfying game. The balance and design are awful from the perspective of fair gameplay, but somehow the experience is too addictive to give up.

That's actually one of the problems with Call of Duty overall IMO. If there weren't such features as killstreaks and Create a Class, the game would more likely have been irritating.
