And Mass Effect. And legs. And other stuff, too. Like vultures. Speaking of which, this might be the first board I've ever seen where a thread about pictures of women had the most pictures being posted by a woman. |

People here don't like shooters OR RPGs? Since when? M.E. and M.E.2 are among the most critically acclaimed games ever and they're both dirt cheap. Try them out. And tell me what's wrong with vultures. Go ahead. I dare you. |

Ok well, lets see I played WoW for about 4 years, then I finally quit because it was going no where (Who would have thought that years of hard work in a fictional universe would have left me with nothing to show for it) I worked at a couple of part-time jobs, Walmart and Old navy I'm going to college, studying architecture, Im about to start my 3rd semester of architectural design classes. I love it, everything is going pretty well. At 16 I renounced my religion as catholic, but I still believed in some form of God.... at 17 I decided that it was all a bunch of bullshit and I finally came out as an atheist. Best thing ever! I also achieved one of my life goals of banging some douche bag's girlfriend, the type of guy that plays guitar, and is in a shitty band, and thinks he is going to be rich and famous so he quits college... So yeah, it felt pretty good I also stopped being so stuck-up about music... don't get me wrong, I still love classical, but I also got into stuff like A Perfect Circle, NIN, Tool, Rammstein, Metallica, Deftones, Tiesto, Daft Punk, Kaskade... lots of rock, metal, techno, trip-hip, Oh yeah, btw, About to be 21 in 2 months. =D Edited by Ali Skahir, Aug 19 2011, 05:55 AM.

Most people don't have that mentality, so no, he's not dangerous yet. There are always people with minority views, and as long as their numbers don't radically increase, it's not a threat to society.

Exactly, Incog. As long as a certain opinion is limited to a small percentage of the population, it's not going to take over society.

I don't think we're on the same page here... I said that beliefs held by a tiny, insignificant number of people don't shape society. |

I heard say that non-believers are a no small minority, 30% of the population claims no religion or belief in god, but only 1.6% uses the word atheist to describe itself. And it is the fastest growing "religion" (and I used that term loosely) in the US. I know atheism isn't a religion. 30% is not insignificant, its just that non-believers aren't politically organized, nor do they have a common leader. Its hard to get independent thinking people to get together to do anything. Plus, NOT believing in something doesn't really give you anything in common with someone else. That's like making a League for People that don't have cancer.... Its really easy to get religious people organized politically because they already do all the right things, they congregate, they listen to a common leader, they are taught to follow. Even if you take atheism to mean the belief that there is no god rather than the absence of belief in god, it isn't a religion, just like deism isn't a religion. It's a belief regarding a singular question, religion is a system of belief. |

I think we should consult with Dragon before we decide whether it is a religion or not. |
