Why not try facing them like a real man?

They should've put the Fus Ro Dah from the trailer into the game. Way cooler.
In battle, in the forest, at the precipice in the mountains,
On the dark great sea, in the midst of javelins and arrows,
In sleep, in confusion, in the depths of shame,
The good deeds a man has done before defend him.

It is; it's the fully mastered Unrelenting Force shout, which is pretty much a Jedi force push on a massive scale.

Yeah it's impossible to melee Giants they one hit kill you and you can barely scratch their balls with your sword. So you have to be a ranged bitch and hit and run.

I kinda regret not opting for a soldier; to wield a sword, shield an armour seems all the more noble and heroic than wizard's drapery.

just wondering, in this game if you complete the main quest line can you still play the game and do other quests or is it like fallout 3 where you die and you have to load before the main quest if you want to play?

People frequently say on other boards how it's better to beat the main quest before you do the rest of the missions. So it's probably all valid.

I just like exploring the plains and killing people.

The Talos worshipers.. or maybe it's something else. Idk. Well there are elves that frequently escort prisoners and they believe in some god. And if you admit to them that you think their beliefs are bullshit, they attack you.

And that's when I run away for my dear life. Running away is strangely satisfying in this game.

Can you pick flowers in skyrim?

Best bit in Red dead apart from random bear attacks, was picking daisies.

I think unicorns have a higher chance of existing than gods do. I mean, if a mare fell into the ocean and a narwhal raped it, then the mare might just give birth to a unicorn.

Reminds me of Fallout 3. I'd try to steal from someone, but they'd catch me and start punching me so I'd shoot them. Then everyone else would try to kill me so I'd have to kill everyone else too.

Well maybe you shouldn't have tried stealing in the first place, jam; actions breed consequences.

In Skyrim, it depends; some quests and conversations will allow you to injure or fight with certain characters without it being judged a crime. Most of the time, any action of assault will swiftly incur the rebuke of the guards.

I like how there's no karma system in this game--they let you pick sides and play how you want, justifying whatever you do. It's how you treat other people that matters. Anyone know the "Molog Bal" mission? Yeah, I killed the guy he wanted, just to spite him.

Yeah, it's good how the kept down the punishment a player would receive for doing something. In games like Fable, if your actions were termed by the game to be immoral, your appearance would become progressively sinister. The disadvantage to that sort of system is that players begin making their choices based upon how they want their characters to evolve, and not upon their own judgment.

You guys talked about how easy it was to play mage.

I started a new game as a High Elf mage.

It's pretty easy.

Seriously don't get how this game is easy.

I die so often. To bears, to bandit thugs, fuck's sake everything in the game 3 hit kills me. Insane.

I don't know if it's possible to do the first werewolf mission on master level or not.

Not as easy as Argonian? Oh wow, I can't breathe underwater and I don't get Histskin. Extra/better magic and faster magic regen is fine.

I'm not playing on Master yet for the reasons I've already explained. It just doesn't feel right when common mobs are killing the PC in two to three hits. If what I'm doing right now becomes boring, I'll bump the difficulty up a notch to Master, but it just isn't going to feel RPG-ish with that change if what you're saying is accurate.

I do think I'm going to have to up it, though, playing this style is much easier than being an Argonian marksman. School of destruction > Archery, by miles and miles.

dark elf= mage all the way haha. and master difficulty is the way the game should be played imo. dragons can actually kill you, lots of things can truly one shot you if you're not careful, traps are actually hurtful, etc. right now im on the third to last mission of the main campaign and i had to tone the difficulty down because I used up half the supplies I thought I had enough of without even going 1/4 of the way. but now it feels unsatisfying because one fireball annihilates almost anything

None of the classes are really easy initially; mages don't do much damage with their spells and their magicka is quickly depleted, and warriors don't have the armour or stamina to withstand combat for very long. Once you get the impact perk and dual-cast fire ball, however, it's a fool's game.

not really, I can't use fireball all that often with my companions runnin around that can get hit too. so the highest difficulty even with impact you still get tossed around. ESPECIALLY in close quarters with 3 bandits chasing you that can all one shot you with a swing. this is really tempting me to become a battle mage next so i can have heavy armor and spells like oak flesh or w/e it is and become OP
