Well now I am conflicted in my opinion on the Russia Ukraine thing. Before I said we need to stop fighting other peoples wars when they didn't ask or need for our help. Now Ukraine is asking, if not begging us to help them as they only have 6000 combat ready soldiers and far fewer combat vehicles being tanks, ships, aircraft, etc. They fear a military invasion. To put a spin on it, I hear there is some contractual obligation for both the US AND Great Brittany (you listening Andy?) to assist with everything including but not limited to political and if needed combat assistance........ WTF? Who agreed to that one how many years ago? What do you guys think? Normally I would say no we need to stay un-involved because most of the time they don't want it anyway. This time they ask for it and we have a contract. Do we break our contract or fulfill it? Here is a portion (with direct quotes used in several articles) of one article. A partial mobilization would begin of volunteers drawn from those with previous military experience, he said. Yatseniuk said the government was doing all it could to finance pay and equipment for the armed forces, but that Kiev needed help from Western guarantors of its security. Western powers have been careful to note that Ukraine, not being a member of NATO, has no automatic claim on the alliance to defend it. But Yatseniuk said the principles of its 1994 nuclear disarmament pact entitled it to expect assistance. "What does the current military aggression of the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory mean?" he said. "It means that a country which voluntarily gave up nuclear weapons, rejected nuclear status and received guarantees from the world's leading countries is left defenseless and alone in the face of a nuclear state that is armed to the teeth. "I say this to our Western partners: if you do not provide guarantees, which were signed in the Budapest Memorandum, then explain how you will persuade Iran or North Korea to give up their status as nuclear states." http://news.yahoo.com/confrontation-ukraine-diplomacy-stalls-011314222.html sorry "In parliament, the acting defense minister said that of some 41,000 infantry mobilized last week, Ukraine could field only about 6,000 combat-ready troops, compared to over 200,000 Russians deployed on the country's eastern borders. The prime minister said the air force was outnumbered 100 to one." |

We need to make a defensive position along the borders of Ukraine and the Crimea. I am all for the separation of the Crimea, but any further advance should be viewed as a declaration of war. |

I agee with this, it would be wrong to keep Crimea with Ukraine even though it is inhabited by Russians but it is also wrong if Russia takes more than Crimea. |

No because Russia wouldn't attack us...by doing nothing it just allows russia to gain ridiculous geopolitical control. |

Geopolitical control with...what, from Ukraine? Wheat? I don't know, it's not that scary. They can take Ukraine if they want. It's really not our business getting involved in all that. |

nah it's k. I just bought mass effect 3 recently (after having pirated it) and I'm trying to unlock as many weapons and characters as I can. It's interesting how much the balance differs between singleplayer and multiplayer. |

ok There are 5 rational pirates, A, B, C, D and E. They find 100 gold coins. They must decide how to distribute them. The pirates have a strict order of seniority: A is superior to B, who is superior to C, who is superior to D, who is superior to E. The pirate world's rules of distribution are thus: that the most senior pirate should propose a distribution of coins. The pirates, including the proposer, then vote on whether to accept this distribution. If the proposed allocation is approved by a majority or a tie vote, it happens. If not, the proposer is thrown overboard from the pirate ship and dies, and the next most senior pirate makes a new proposal to begin the system again.[1] Pirates base their decisions on three factors. First of all, each pirate wants to survive. Second, given survival, each pirate wants to maximize the number of gold coins he receives. Third, each pirate would prefer to throw another overboard, if all other results would otherwise be equal.[2] The pirates do not trust each other, and will neither make nor honor any promises between pirates apart from the main proposal. So who is A, B, C, D and E? Wanna play? |
