It sounds right to me, it seems high when you compare it to other cars but don't forget, as 20sideways said, you're not even halfway through the revs at that RPM and the speed picks up very quickly! ;)

you say you have a 1998 BZ-G and you mention a 6th gear?

i think you might have a BZ-R?

correct me if im wrong but only the BZ-R's have the 6 speed gearbox?

anyway in my BZ-G - in top gear (5th) im doing about 3100-3200RPM at 100km\h

so id say you are about right - nothing to worry about - unless you boot it or you use the VVT and the revs scream up but no real speed increase you might have a dodgy clutch - but if its not slipping and is driving fine then what you describe sounds good  B)

BZ-G are 6 speed aswell!

Only some ..............

yeah thats quite surprising to know that some BZ-G's came out with the 6 Speed Gearbox - i know mine has the LSD - tested it on snow boy was that fun XD but its the 5 speed box - maybe they just don't import the 6 speed G's over here :o

I think the 6 speed box became an option on the bzg's after 97 or 98 ........

yeah, when the bzr was released in 97 the c60 box became an option on the bzg, if the cars a 96 then more than likely the box was swapped, drives have 2 b changed 2!!!!

MAC_HATER ... you dont have a BZ-V do you?

Also to find out if the stock gearbox in ur car is lsd or not look at the firewall it was have trans code C** **A, or C** **C ....
c56 15A = no lsd
c56 15C = lsd

from memory thats how it works anyway A is open diff C is LSD
