Well everyone, im thinking of going down this line instead of coilovers. Im thinking of getting either KYB or TRD shocks and using them with Tein lowering springs. What are the pro's and con's of this method against coilovers???? |

I guess the lack of full adjustability is the main one, but there's nothing wrong with a decently matched set! |

im using inverted TRD rally shocks (they are made by KYB says on the sticker) ... KYB excel incerts seam to work well which is cheaper again. I was using tein springs and they were very nice to drive on. I have a set of race bilstine coilovers that I havent fitted mainly because adjustable sus over there has to get certified... pain in the ass If you want a nice ride, abit lower, nice cornering, and semi decent at the track go for new shocks an springs, coilovers are abit harsh on the street (well on nz roads anyway) |
