BZ-G vs BZ-R ECU Differences

From my understanding both cars are almost identical powertrain wise minus the transmission/gerabox. Since the BZ-G came with the 5spd and the BZ-R came with the 6spd, are there any differences between the ECUs of the cars so if one wanted to use the 6spd with a BZ-G ECU, there would be no issues?

I think, there is no difference between bzg's ecu and bzr's ecu.Ecu can work with both gearboxs,5 speed and 6 speed

5sp ecu with a 6sp box will cause slightly early rev cut out points in 1st and 6th gear.

they are compatible though.

Hmm so the rev limiter will kick in at higher rpms in first and sixth? Will it make a noticeable difference because most of the engine+tranny+ecu combos sold by importers here are 5spds and the 6spds they offer are just outrageously overpriced. Just wondering if I wanted the 6spd in the future.

yea throwing the 6speed on later is no issue.
thought the 6speed cut earlyer than the 5speed since the 6speed is weaker, and has closer gearing meaning it wont effect it to much.
