why will no one fit it? thats easy money in their pockets. Yeh you can do it yourself easy enough. easier if you borrow another set of hands. |

b real careful wit the manifold bolts, the rest of the system aint half as imprrtant, id really get a garage 2do it coz the bolts are SOOOOOOOOO easy broken even ur bein careful, if you do decide 2 do it a whole bottle of wd40 the nite before might make it easier but talk 2 whoever u bought it off 2c if they can arrange fitting first!!!!! |

point made, snap a bolt in the head and you have problems! before doing it, pretty much all garages will say to you that if a bolt does shear they don't take resposibility for it. my old man had an injector go on his merc and the garage sheared a bolt into the head. had to get a specialist in to remove it and the bill came to just shy of £900! he had to pay for it as they had said to him they could be a pain and should it go it was not their fault. took the exhaust mani off the paseo when i had it and it came off with no problems though, and the other one went back on fine. And I doubt those bolts had been touched in a good 12 years. |

Get a pal who is in some way mechanically minded to give you a hand. And approach those bolts with caution. |

ya they dont seem to bad on the money front...it is a easy job ..but the ease of a ramp and going away for a while and getting back to the job all done!! would be a much better idea!! |

use the right tools for the job and you will be fine... for the bolts on the head use a deep 6point (yes ONLY 6 not 12!!!) 14mm socket 1/2" drive and a powerbar... around 40cm or longer. you will have no issue there, you might find the 4-2 flange hard to undo you might be able to get around this by just removing the whole lot with out unbolting them. Its best to drain and remove your radiator so you dont damage it and get more room to twist the headers out. the cat back is easy just hang it in the hangers and bolt it one... also the two bolts here will be abit stiff... same powerbar and 6pt 14mm should do it |
