I found these at tomsracing.co.jp :
Toyota car continuing innovation every day, TEC II evolves with an engine computer. TEC II shows disposal of CPU ability to the maximum and controls advanced Toyota engine. Let you splash information of enormous quantity on each other and operate it momentarily, and a control system carried by current Toyota car is made to be able to keep a run state to be the always best in what kind of situation. For example, a condition changed just a little, and paradoxically the attentiveness of the program corresponding to a second was the impregnable fort that it was difficult to change data. It cannot completely hold this system besides TOM'S. The technology of the works that conquered many races in Toyota car right flowered here. TEC II uses an engine bench in own company, data logger freely, and it is realized setting to be most suitable for each base car by a repeated test. We do not tell power performance with numerical value, and get engine feel beyond numerical value. This embodies in thought of the intelligence computer which TOM'S raised. It is required to raise quality of an engine part, but cannot get true sports dynamism to be full of sports driving when I do it without a computer linking those tall handloom ability smoothly.

Good buy

brand new they are worth more than a stand alown ecu, I used to run a Sard ecu, Mines also made them, and in that case you its best to get one that you can tune for further mods.

The sard I had had a better tune and no speed cut, 9k rev limit, brought it for 400nzd sold it for 1000nzd :D it was in demand on an auction site I listed it on.

no bother 2 ya
600 profit nice

never ceen da sard one b4
u hav any info or links on it ace? ;)

I've always been told to keep clear of these jap tuned ecu's as they are tuned for jap fuel and conditions, if you are going to use one always make sure you get it double checked like your a/f ratios etc, or that cheap ecu just turned into an expensive engine, seen it happen before, I've also seen pleanty of people use them with never a problem.

the toyota based ones are all good, just make sure you run good fuel.

The ones to stay clear of are the copys... since toyota ecu's are complicated theres not much chance of issues, but there are alot of rip/copy Rom chips for hondas and other easy chiped ecu's

Blitz also make them

The sard ecu's are still made... just found some prices, its NZ$
Corolla 4AG - AE101 - $1365
Corolla 4AG - AE111 - $1490

pics of my ae101 sard ecu last image you see a add-on board on the right lower corner this has a small cpu and ram chip aswell as the stock I/C, the add on board is pluged into were the stock I/C is, apart from that the speed limiter crystal has been removed from the main board

Where can I find them?? (the sard ECU for an ae111)

Brand new as per prices quoted, if you plan to do alot of engine work go aftermarket, if you want to do the basic's and plug this in and drive with no further issues.
