Hey guys, I noticed when I put my TRD gearknob on the car, that the gearboot hung down to much. To rectify this problem I used a peice of hose, 15mm long and with a 10mm diameter. If you take the gearknob and the gearboot off you'll notice a plastic disc that is set in place, I placed the peice of hose over this, and it now fits great
Theres still a slight gap but its much less noticeable. If you use a peice to long, it tends to make it hard to put a 5spd into reverse. Just thought I'd post that in case someone was wanting to know. |

hey, i noticed mine was low too, so i just taped some rolled up duct tape to the right height, now its perfect! see pics, pretty self explanatory, feel free to try this. andy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All done.

The 5spd Leather looks similar to stock... But there are different TRD knobs like the one I've got looks completely different... |
