last week i was getting a scalding noise from the exhaust ( sounds like a kettle boiling with no water )

Anyway it was advised to me to get it on a ramp and get it looked at. which I did , The mechanic said i needed a new middle box ... so ... i got one and from atlas exhausts and tyres in dublin , he simply fitted a BOSSAL middle box by welding it ..... is that ok ? ? ? because know that the scalding noise is gone , it is very very loud .

I mean i cant even pull out of the drive without setting of at least 2 car alarms , or someones house alarm..

is that normal... by the way i only got the car 3 weeks ago ! thanks for any info

the center one is a straight through resonator so any replacement shouldnt change things to much, unless it was the cat that was removed?

aka Hyper Rev 4...
i think he has put on something too loud or maybe the wrong kind of cat or silencer...
mind you i don't know what a bossal middle box looks like...
but something like the black one in the top middle should help or may reduce the noise...
