MAJOR PROB HENCE THE CAPITALS
I bought rota grid 15" alloys last week put pirelli p5000 tyre on 195 50 15
when i first drove off from the centre there was a big prob vibrating so i knew wasnt balance properly got redone at same place 3 times to no avail
so change tyre centre got all 4 balance and changed combinatio front on the back and vica versa also got it tracked still fecked im confuses as all spigot rings are okay and lug nuts are good and alloys seem to be perfect maybe its the tyres but there all on the right direction the vibration is gone now its just like drivin a convertable or a slinky dog the arse follows the front as if it were connected seperately .

Did you switch over the wheels yourself? Never heard anything like it before.. if you didnt change the wheels yourself and it was fine before you got them changed I would be asking serious questions of whoever fitted them! Otherwise have you checked around each and every wheel? Hubs, brakes, ball joints...?

i think on 15" 50's are too big. you want 45's max. that should sort it. and if the car has been lowered you might want to concider 40's

Ok, dya knw the way there is like a black plastic kind of spacer in th the center of the alloy, I left an old on on before too and da wheels wasnt on properly. Take off the wheel and hav a look!

Needs to Try Harder
The spacer is (or should be ) the spigot ring....most likely thing is you have different ET from previous, so that will make a difference...same thing happened with me..changed from 15s to 17s......mad vibration between 100-140 kph....haven't gone and got the tracking/balncing done yet...but below/after those speeds...... smooth as fcuk... and 195/50/15 is the correct tyre aspect ratio...check the lug nuts...as sometimes 'tuner' lug nuts are slimmer and don't centre the wheels correctly...
If you are on lowered springs (or coilovers) then you need to get the castor/camber sorted...tracking won't remedy everything.....unless you have spherical/camber adjust top mounts on the front, you'll need camber adjustable bolts...fit on the lower shock (Mac struts??)... I have a spare set of those if you need any...

you probably just need some hub rings, that tyre combo/rim size is decent though...

I have on 16" Rota Grids with no issues....

i put back on the old wheels the standard bzr ones an prob is gone spigot ring is a1 no prob there my feeling is either tyres or lugs but all tyre centres have said there a1 so im lost its startin to piss me off cos the tyres cost me €280 and wheels €595 that camber adjustment sounds good though maybe il give that a go

The only think i can think of is if you got a bad set of wheels and 1 of the alloys is slightly buckled. Had this before on an old set but happened to me from hittin a pot hole. But once i went over a certain speed the stearin wheel wud vibrate.

Try bringin them back to where u got them as well
